Forsyth County Sheriff sought a juvenile petition against a student for possessing a weapon on Robert B Glenn High School campus
Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office said we have sought a juvenile petition against a student for possessing a weapon on a school campus.

During a narcotics investigation, a search warrant was executed at a residence in Winston-Salem. During the search warrant, a juvenile returned to the home.
The juvenile was subsequently interviewed and his vehicle searched; a firearm and marijuana were seized from the vehicle.
The juvenile confessed to having the firearm in the vehicle while at Glenn High School and indicated that the firearm was left in the vehicle and not taken into the building. We are thankful that all students and school staff remained safe.
A juvenile petition has been sought for Possessing a Weapon on Campus or Other Educational Property; as the student is a juvenile, no further identifying information will be released.
