Dillard High School in Fort Lauderdale evacuated after bomb threat
Police said the student later recanted the threat.

On Friday morning, Dillard High School students were forced to evacuate the campus after a student claimed there was a bomb on school grounds.
The Fort Lauderdale police department stated that the student retracted the statement, but the students were still evacuated as a precaution.
In response, a bomb squad and a police K-9 team were dispatched to conduct a thorough search of the campus, which is situated at 2501 NW 11th St., located in the northwestern part of the city.
