Michael “Mikaben” Benjamin, a musician from Haiti who was 41 years old, died on October 15 in Paris after passing out on stage soon after finishing a concert with the well-known Haitian band Carimi.

According to reports, the singer had just finished his set with the Haitian konpa band CaRiMi when he suddenly fainted onstage in Paris.
The incident was broadcast in real time on Twitter, with Frantz Duval, the editor of a Haitian newspaper, being the first person to inform followers that something was awry.
After that, the singer Mickael Guirand instructed the audience to leave the area.
The concert has come to an end. “The room must be cleared out immediately,” Guirand insisted.
“It’s a very difficult situation. We are in need of prayers.
Mikaben can be seen walking offstage when abruptly he collapses to the ground on video footage taken during the concert.
The location was evacuated while he was being attended to, and there are allegations that he was given cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Although the official cause of death has not yet been determined, it is believed that the R&B artist passed away as a result of heart arrest.
Mikaben was a well-respected singer, composer, guitarist, and producer. His song “Ayti Se,” which was released in the wake of Haiti’s catastrophic earthquake in 2010, reached a large number of people.
