Hank Williams Jr’s wife’s cause of death revealed four months after Mary Jane Thomas died following surgery at age 61
The Palm Beach County Medical Examiner’s office says that Mary Jane Thomas died on March 22 from a collapsed lung that was caused by a hole made in it during a planned surgery the day before.
Accidental death was given as the reason for death.
The wife, who used to be a model, went from Nashville to Jupiter, Florida to get liposuction and have her old breast implants taken out.
At approximately five o’clock on Tuesday, the Jupiter Police Department received “a medical call at the Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa.”
The famous country star’s wife was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
“A family member told us that Mary Jane died on Tuesday in Jupiter, Florida. From what we’ve heard so far, it looks like she had a problem after a medical procedure, possibly a blood clot.
