One person shot in the parking lot of Tanger Outlets, Charleston
Police ask public to please stay out of the area.

Update: Tonight around 7:45 NCPD responded to Tanger Outlets in reference to a possible shooting. Initial information once on scene is that two small groups of males were engaged in an argument in the parking lot when one male produced a firearm and shot in a random isolated incident.
The suspect left the area in a vehicle. The male victim who was in the second group was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening iinjuries.
Investigators are on scene interviewing witnesses and reviewing video of the incident.
FOX3 has reported a significant police presence at the Tanger Outlets in North Charleston, following multiple reports of gunshots heard inside the mall by people leaving the area.

Witnesses have also observed a large number of police officers inside the mall.
Outside the Banana Republic store, crime scene tape and evidence markers have been placed.
The North Charleston Police Department has not yet released an official statement regarding the incident.
As at the time of this report, there has been neither confirmation nor identification of any victims.
No suspects have been identified, and there has been no information immediately released regarding any arrests.
