Officers on the scene state they have located a man with a gunshot wound and are surrounding the building.
A person shot himself inside Mount Sinai Kings Highway Hospital located at 3201 Kings Highway.
The victim appears to be in traumatic arrest following a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Initially, it was feared that there was an active shooter in the hospital
Officers are not searching for a suspect.
Officers and detectives are currently on scene conducting an investigation.
Police ask public to please stay out of the area.
