Following a threat of a shooting, more officers are currently present at Quail Valley Middle School in the Fort Bend ISD on Friday.
The school district reported that there was no information to suggest that it posed a credible threat to the safety of students or staff, but they wanted to take precautions regardless.
“Our campus will be supported with additional officers today out of an abundance of caution,” a statement from Fort Bend ISD said.
Regarding the school shooting threat, the district did not release any additional information.
This is a developing story that will be updated when more information is available.
