Armed man in custody after an hour long standoff outside Walmart in Goose Creek

Update: After a long standoff, police have taken the suspect into custody without any incident.

A number of different law enforcement agencies, including SWAT, are on scene near a Dollar Tree with their guns drawn. There are reports of a standoff between an armed individual and police

Officers and detectives are currently on scene conducting an investigation.

As at the time of this report, there has been neither confirmation nor identification of any victims.

Police ask public to please stay out of the area.
