Robert Crimo III, the person of interest in Highland Park parade shooting has been captured.

A person of interest in the Highland Park parade shooting is in custody, authorities said.
According to the authorities, a North Chicago police officer observed Robert “Bobby” E. Crimo III, age 22, at the intersection of Route 41 and Buckley Road at approximately 6:30 p.m.
After a brief pursuit, the vehicle was finally caught at the intersection of Westleigh Road and Highway 41 in Lake Forest.
Crimo was arrested without any kind of commotion or trouble.
The incident, which took place during a 4th of July parade, resulted in the deaths of at least six individuals and injuries to at least 31 more.
Crimois hailing from the region. His hometown is Rockford, and he also has ties to De Kalb and Elgin.
He had a height of 5 feet 11 inches and was driving a silver 2010 Honda Fit bearing the license plate DM80653 in the state of Illinois.
Crimo is a white man with brown hair that reaches his neck. In addition to the tattoos of roses that are located on his neck, he also has a tattoo located beneath his right eye, and another that is located on his left eyebrow.
FOX3 News has received confirmation from law enforcement sources that the investigation into the person of interest includes the person of interest’s social media activities.
Chris Covelli, who works for the Lake County Major Crimes Task Force, stated that it appeared as though the shooter was firing from a roof.
A firearm was found at the scene of the incident.
According to Covelli, the search for the shooter involved hundreds of law enforcement agents, including those from the Illinois State Police and the FBI.
