Hoax shooting call at Claremont Middle School
It has since been discovered that several other agencies received a similar call.

Around 9:40 AM, a male contacted the Claremont Dispatcher Center and declared his intention to perpetrate a school shooting at the Claremont Middle School, accompanied by gunfire heard in the background.
Officers promptly arrived at CMS and established that the call was a false alarm.
The NH Intelligence Center was promptly informed to update law enforcement agencies throughout the state.
Subsequently, Claremont Police were supported by the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office, Claremont Fire Department, and Golden Cross Ambulance.
It has since been discovered that several other agencies received a similar call.
