Isabela Gomes Pereira, 28, from Contagem, Brazil, is accused of employing three men to break into the home of Leandro Rezende in retaliation for his decision to discontinue the relationship.

During the June incident, the sleeping 36-year-old was allegedly beaten and strangled with electrical lines, according to investigators.
He was then strangled to death with a fan’s power cord while gang members kicked and pummeled him.
The police suspect Gomes planned to frighten and hurt her ex before circumstances escalated.
The woman and two of the suspected gang members have been charged with armed robbery that resulted in death.
According to authorities, a third suspect is still at large.
Leandro died through mechanical asphyxiation due to “neck tightness and traumatic cervical injuries,” as determined by an autopsy.
Gomes is thought to have recruited the three males, aged 20, 24, and 31, from neighboring Belo Horizonte to break into her ex-residence boyfriend’s at night.
In addition to torturing him, Gomes instructed them to plunder his residence and divide the earnings.
On the night of the incident, investigators believe Gomes drove the suspects to the victim’s residence after picking them up.

Leandro’s belongings, estimated to be valued up to £15,000, were stolen from the residence.
According to the reports of the local media, the couple had a history of violent behavior.
In September of the previous year, Gomes claimed that her partner had struck her and pulled her hair.
Also, Gomes and Leandro got into an altercation in April when Gomes claimed to have found Leandro in a restaurant with a lady.
According to reports, she damaged Leandro’s table by shattering a glass and also scraped his vehicle.
Gomes’s social media page boasted 11,000 followers, and she utilized it to promote cosmetics and share inspirational quotes with her audience.
The cause of Leonardo’s passing is being looked into.
