Instagram is down worldwide
Meta, the parent company of Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp, has not yet responded to inquiries sent on Sunday evening ET.

You’re not alone in this. Instagram is currently facing a widespread outage that is being reported globally, and there is no estimated time for when the service will be restored.
Down Detector, a platform that monitors website outages, has received an overwhelming number of over 98,000 reports in the last 15 minutes about Instagram being inaccessible.
When attempting to load a user’s home feed, the app displays error messages such as “Sorry, something went wrong” or “sorry, couldn’t refresh feed.” Like other popular social media platforms including Facebook and TikTok, Instagram has become a crucial tool for individuals and businesses worldwide.
It’s worth noting that Instagram experienced another outage a few days ago, although that incident seemed to have a more limited impact.
The recent Instagram outage was initially reported by Gizmodo Australia, with Down Detector receiving approximately 1,000 outage reports.

Will provide updates to this article if I receive any further information.
