Jamie Foxx been out of the hospital for weeks, daughter Corinne says

Jamie Foxx’s family has responded to rumors about the actor’s health, which surfaced four weeks after he revealed that he had suffered a medical complication.

His daughter, Corinne, 29, shared a post on her Instagram Story on Friday, saying that her dad has been out of the hospital for weeks and is recuperating.

She expressed her sadness over how the media has been speculating and sharing reports that claim the family is preparing for “the worst.”

Furthermore, Corinne Foxx mentioned that her father was playing pickleball the day before, and expressed her gratitude for the support and prayers from everyone.

She also teased an upcoming work announcement that will be made next week. Jamie Foxx himself had posted a message on his Instagram account last Wednesday, expressing his appreciation for all the love and adding “See u all soon” on his Instagram Story.

Corinne shared on Instagram on April 12 that her father suffered a “medical complication” while filming the Netflix movie Back in Action in Atlanta the day before.

The film stars Cameron Diaz and Glenn Close, and is directed by Foxx’s Horrible Bosses director Seth Gordon.

She added that her father was “on his way to recovery” at that point and thanked fans for their prayers and support.

According to a source who spoke to FOX3 on April 21, Jamie Foxx’s health was improving and he was awake and alert, although still in the hospital undergoing observation and tests.

The actor was said to be steadily recovering in a medical facility in Georgia, and production on his movie Back in Action had resumed after being briefly paused.

Foxx was last seen filming on April 10, and due to his hospitalization, one stunt double replaced him, while another person acted as his photo double.
