Jansen Panettiere, the brother of actress Hayden Panettiere, has passed away in New York over the weekend, as per sources from FOX3.
The exact cause of his death remains unknown at this time.
Law enforcement officials received a call on Sunday evening around 5:30 PM regarding the incident, but there is no indication of any foul play involved.
Jansen, who was five years younger than Hayden, began his acting career in the early 2000s and worked on several notable projects such as “Even Stevens,” “Blue’s Clues,” “Robots,” and “Ice Age: The Meltdown.”
Additionally, he played the recurring character of Truman X in Nickelodeon’s “The X’s.” Jansen also acted alongside his sister in the films “Tiger Cruise” (2004) and “Racing Stripes” (2005), and went on to star in various Disney Channel original movies and made-for-TV Nickelodeon films.
In 2008, he received a Young Artist Award nomination for his work on “The Last Day of Summer.” Jansen continued to act through the 2010s, appearing on shows such as “Major Crimes” and “The Walking Dead,” and was also involved in five upcoming projects at the time of his passing.
