Witnesses stated that 29-year-old Jasmine Contreras was kidnapped outside of a Target shop in broad daylight after she was promised a ride in an older car and made unsuccessful attempts to escape from her captors.

The alleged kidnapping took place in front of a Target store in Lancaster, which is located approximately 110 kilometers (70 miles) north of downtown Los Angeles, California.

The Lancaster Sheriff’s Station has reported that Jasmine Contreras, age 29, has been classified as a “critical missing person.”

Thursday was the last time anyone saw her; she was traveling in a burgundy Mercury from the 1950s. It has been reported that the vehicle does not have a hood, and it has chrome wheels.

Investigators informed FOX3 that a witness saw two women being given rides outside the Target store on 10th Street West and Avenue K shortly before 9 a.m.

One woman, who has only been identified as a Hispanic woman in her 34th year, was successful in evading capture.

According to reports, Contreras has a height of 5 feet 4 inches and a weight of 120 pounds. According to the information gathered by the investigators, she was wearing a black tank top and black jeans when she was last seen.

Police have said that the suspect is a white man in his 60s.
