Jimmy Kimmel will host the 2023 Oscars
The late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel has presided over the Oscars before, including a famously chaotic moment in 2017.

Jimmy Kimmel will return to host the Academy Awards for the third time, the Academy announced Monday.

Previously, Kimmel helmed the event in 2017 and 2018.
According to reports, Kimmel said in a statement, “Being asked to host the Oscars for a third time is either a fantastic honour or a trap.” In any case, I appreciate the Academy for reaching out to me so soon after everyone else had declined.
The best picture mix-up between “La La Land” and “Moonlight” during his final stint presenting the ceremony made it unforgettable.
Will Smith slapping host Chris Rock at the 94th Academy Awards will be followed by another well-known controversy at the next Oscars ceremony.
