Joshua Lamont Jones shot and killed on Timberland Lane in Charlottesville
Mr. Jones was transported to the University of Virginia Medical Center and later pronounced deceased.
On Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at approximately 9:42 pm, Albemarle County Police Department and Albemarle County Fire Rescue responded to reports of shots fired in the 300 block of Timberland Lane.
Upon arrival, officers discovered Mr. Joshua Lamont Jones, 34, of Charlottesville, was struck by gunfire.
Mr. Jones was transported to the University of Virginia Medical Center and later pronounced deceased.
