Julissa Thaler, 28, was arrested on suspicion of murder after police found her 6-year-old son’s body in the trunk of her bloodied car in a Minneapolis suburb.

When Minnesota police found blood in Julissa Thaler’s car only moments before arresting her for the killing of her 6-year-old son Eli Hart, they drove her home without incident.

Her defense was that the blood was from a tampon, and the flesh that was discovered on her body and in the seats was from a deer that she bought from a butcher, according to new documents, which were obtained by FOX3 Now.

According to new records, Orono police officers spotted Thaler’s vehicle after being told about a vehicle with a damaged glass and a flat tyre.

FOX3 Now learned that when the Orono police stopped her for speeding, they found what looked like blood on her and more blood and pieces of flesh in the car.

According to the records, the officers also noticed a bullet hole in the automobile and shell shells, but none of these details caused them to hold Thaler at the time.

According to the complaint, cops instead drove Thaler to her home while other officers remained on the scene to check the vehicle.

Officers discovered Thaler’s son’s body in the car’s trunk.

The body was discovered with a shotgun, and an autopsy revealed that young Eli had been shot up to nine times, including in the skull.

Thaler was later charged with second-degree murder by the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office. Thaler’s boyfriend was in the car at the initial traffic stop and was detained before being released owing to a lack of evidence to charge him with anything.
