Suspect in custody after incident at Santa Clara Kaiser

A Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara Medical Center in California is on high alert as police respond to a “significant event” in the emergency room area.

Authorities announced on Tuesday that a suspect was taken into custody following a “peaceful resolution” to an incident that occurred at the Santa Clara location of Kaiser Permanente.

On Tuesday morning, there was a significant police presence that hurried to the Santa Clara Kaiser Hospital.

Santa Clara police have stated that there has been “police activity at the emergency department,” however they have also stated that the issue does not involve an active shooter.

Police refused to give any other details regarding the event right away.
