Keewannie Blackburn arrested after shooting incident outside Fairway One Stop in Winston-Salem
Blackburn is receiving medical attention for his non-life-threatening injuries.

An investigation is underway by the Winston-Salem police regarding a shooting incident that took place on Friday at approximately 11:22 p.m. on Waughtown Street.
According to the police, they discovered a man who had suffered from a gunshot wound in the parking lot of Fairway One Stop on S. Martin Luther King Jr Drive.
The victim and his companion were reportedly engaged in a physical altercation with Keewannie Blackburn when Blackburn discharged his firearm and shot the victim.
Subsequently, the victim fled across the street and sought refuge in the parking lot where the police discovered him.
Blackburn is facing multiple charges, including possession of methamphetamine, assault with a deadly weapon resulting in serious injury, discharging a firearm within city limits, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Presently, Blackburn is receiving medical attention for his non-life-threatening injuries.
