Lafayette police responded to reports of shooting outside Burger King

It is advisable to steer clear of Burger King located on 26 for the next few hours as the Lafayette police are conducting an investigation into a shooting incident that took place outside the restaurant.

Two casings have been found outside the establishment, but no injuries have been reported yet.

Shell casing has been located. Suspect is possibly on red cloud trail.

According to a manager, there was a sound of at least one shot fired within the store, but there seem to be no visible injuries to anyone.
