Large White Balloon spotted just to the East of Honolulu, Hawaii
According to multiple pilots, they have sighted the object.

At present, there have been reports via ACARS from several commercial flights flying over the region of a large white balloon located approximately 500 miles to the east of Honolulu.
The altitude of this balloon is estimated to be between 40,000 and 50,000 feet.
This development occurred only a few days after US authorities alleged that a Chinese “spy” balloon, which was intended to monitor Hawaii, had crashed due to being diverted from its intended path.
However, there is currently no confirmation of these claims from Air Traffic Control or other US officials.
According to multiple pilots, they have sighted the object.

A picture circulating on the internet depicts a pilot in the cockpit holding a note that states, “Report of large white balloon in the vicinity of 2639N15021W. Estimated to be between FL400 and FL500. Precise altitude unknown. Advise ATC if object is seen.” It is currently unclear who the object belongs to or the level of risk it presents to the public.
However, several balloons have been intercepted and shot down by the US military in recent weeks.
This is a developing story that will be updated when more information is available.
