Lockdown at Lompoc High School and Clarence Ruth Elementary School have been lifted

Update: Lompoc Police said both lockdowns have been lifted.

Clarence Ruth has also locked down as a precaution.

There is no threat to Clarence Ruth; they are locked down as a precaution.

At the direction of Lompoc Police Department, Lompoc High School is currently on a lockdown.

There is no threat to the high school; this is just a precaution due to an ongoing investigation happening a couple blocks near the high school.

We will let everyone know when the lockdown has been lifted.
