Lockdown at San Benito Veterans Memorial Academy has been lifted

District and City law enforcement officers have detained a student for making a virtual terroristic threat at San Benito Veterans Memorial Academy.

Students and staff were safe at all times. We appreciate everyone patience throughout this process.

San Benito Veterans Memorial Academy is currently on lockdown. District and City law enforcement officers are onsite, conducting a thorough extensive investigation into a virtual terroristic threat.

Students and staff are safe. We respectfully request that parents refrain from coming to the campus.
