Male died from a self inflicted gunshot wound at Floral Park in Nassau County
The incident remains under investigation by the authorities.
At around 10:30am, authorities received calls reporting that a male in Floral Park, Nassau County had been found with a bullet near the train station.
ESU (Emergency Service Unit) retrieved shell casings from the scene and the male was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital by EMS (Emergency Medical Services).
Unfortunately, an update later revealed that the male had passed away as a result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The incident remains under investigation by the authorities.
