Because of a threat made on social media, classes at Marquette High School were let out early for the second day in a row on Friday.

Another threat made via social media has resulted in the early dismissal of students at Marquette High School on Friday.
Marquette High School is once again evacuating and dismissing early due to a new AirDropped social media threat directed at MHS and is currently under investigation. Dismissal details have been shared with Marquette students and families. Chesterfield Police are on campus to ensure the safe dismissal of all MHS students.
This only affects Marquette High School; all other Rockwood schools are continuing with their normal school day. We will be following up with all families with additional details as we have them. Please know the safety and well-being of all students is our primary concern.
A bomb threat was made over social media on Thursday, which resulted in the early dismissal of kids from school.
The Rockwood School District has a representative who told FOX3 that the threat that was made on Friday was not a bomb threat, but the spokeswoman would not elaborate further.
Friday morning, prior to noon, a number of police officers were dispatched to the school.
We will provide any new information that we have in connection with this occurrence.
