Martin Carpio charged with attempted murder after he stabbed 21-year-old man outside Dominican Restaurant 4 in Farmingdale
A companion of the victim then punched Carpio, knocking him unconscious.

Nassau police have charged a Bellmore man with attempted murder for allegedly stabbing a 21-year-old man outside a Farmingdale restaurant on Sunday morning.
According to authorities, Martin Carpio, 35, got into an argument with several customers inside Dominican Restaurant 4 on Main Street around 2 a.m.
The altercation turned physical and moved outside, where Carpio reportedly stabbed the victim, causing deep cuts and a punctured lung.
A companion of the victim then punched Carpio, knocking him unconscious.
Police arrived on the scene and transported both Carpio and the victim to local hospitals.
Carpio has been charged with second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
He will face arraignment once he is fit to do so, according to police.
