According to a press statement issued by the city police of Phoenix, Arizona, one guy was killed and four other persons were injured early on Sunday morning after a shooting rampage that took place at the end of a late-night party.

Sgt. Phil Krynsky of the Phoenix Police Department described the scene of the mass shooting that occurred about 2 a.m. local time as “chaotic” after officers were summoned to a home near 46th Street and McDowell Road for reports of a gunshot.

The announcement stated that upon arrival, the fire crew determined that a guy in his early 40s had passed away at the scene. According to the release, the police are awaiting notification from the next of kin before disclosing the individual’s identify.

The local fire department transported a woman, a girl, and a guy to the hospital where they were treated for their injuries.

The girl’s gunshot wound was life-threatening, while the man and woman’s were not, according to the announcement. A fourth victim, a guy, arrived at the hospital with a non-fatal gunshot wound.

The accused shooter was also sent to the hospital with a non-life-threatening injury, according to the announcement.

Upon further investigation, detectives determined that there had been a confrontation between numerous guys at a late-night party before shots were fired.

The announcement stated, “During the struggle, one of the participating individuals pulled out a revolver and fired multiple times into the crowd as he attempted to flee.” “After the gunshot, onlookers restrained the man until police arrived and arrested him.”
