Menifee Police cleared Santa Rosa Academy after report of suspicious person
Officers have cleared the entire school. All kids and staff are safe, and the original report of a suspicious person on campus is unfounded.

Police have cleared the entire campus at Santa Rosa Academy, according to Menifee PD.
No weapons or suspicious persons were found and the report is considered unfounded.
A large group of parents have been allowed to line up and begin picking up their students, although school remains in session.
Rumors of an active shooter appear to have stemmed from online searches for “Santa Rosa shooting”, which reveals news stories about a shooting in the Northern California city of Santa Rosa.
Some other area schools were also placed on lockdown as a precaution, but police said there is no danger to students or the community.
