Joshua Rowland, a two-year-old who went missing from his front yard yesterday, has been located, according to his family.
Joshua, who is also known as JJ, was last seen playing with dogs in the yard of his family’s residence on Cheever Road in Brooksville, Florida.
Upon reporting their son missing at noon, Joshua’s parents triggered a Missing Child Alert from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Subsequently, an extensive search operation involving K-9s, drones, and mounted patrol was conducted throughout the day in multiple areas.
As of Friday morning, the ground search was resumed, and the young boy was found safe around 11 am.

A spokesperson from the Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Joshua was unharmed but required hospitalization.
