Missouri tornado warning issued at airport near St Louis

Tornado warnings in effect for St. Louis and St. Charles counties through 5:30 p.m.

The tornado is moving north near Ladue right now. St Louis and St Charles are currently under severe weather warnings.

Residents are already reporting downed trees as the storm moves through the state.

Flash floods have been reported to cover roads.

A tornado has been confirmed in Missouri
Green skies within the tornado-warned storm that rolled into Crestwood, Missouri (a suburb of St. Louis) moments ago.

Due to the inclement weather, people are being advised to shelter in place at the St Louis Lambert International Airport.

In social media photos, large clouds could be seen forming.

Severe thunderstorms also hit the state, bringing strong winds and hail to nearly a dozen counties.
