Multiple people shot on Hialeah Street in the Pine Hills, Suspect in custody

According to a statement from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday afternoon, there have been multiple shooting incidents on Hialeah Street in the Pine Hills neighborhood.

The Sheriff’s Office reported that one person has been apprehended in connection with the shooting, and several individuals have been transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The extent of their injuries is currently unknown. Orange County Sheriff John Mina is scheduled to give a briefing on the shootings at 7 p.m.
Earlier in the day, deputies found a woman in her 20s shot around 11:17 a.m. in the 6100 block of Hialeah Street. She was pronounced dead on scene.
The investigation is in the early stages and this is all the information we have for release at this time,” the agency said in an unsigned statement.
