Broughton High School on lockdown due to threat outside building

Needham Broughton High issued the following statement:
Around 10:45 a.m. today, we placed our campus on a “modified code yellow” lockdown due to security concerns at our school. The lockdown ended at 11:30 a.m. The lockdown was a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of our students and faculty.
We greatly appreciate the relationship we have with law enforcement and WCPSS Security in responding to such situations. They work closely with us to ensure the safety of our students every day.
If you have any questions or concerns, please call the school office. Thank you for your continued support of our school.
No suspects have been identified, and there has been no information immediately released regarding any arrests.
Police ask public to please stay out of the area.
