Maresa Kunze and her boyfriend Joseph Bonar accused of shooting her five children with airsoft guns as a form of punishment

A New Castle mother Maresa Kunze and her boyfriend Joseph Bonar face multiple charges.

Pictures of the children’s feet, legs, backs, and arms were given to the police, and officers observed “dozens of injuries to the tops and bottoms of their feet, ankles, arms, chest, and back.” Some of the wounds were said to be “fresh,” while others were said to be mending or becoming scarred.

The ages of the children are 12, 9, 7, and 5 years old.

One of them stated that getting shot is a “horrible” experience, and she and her siblings have been shot in the past for not completing their duties. She went on to say that the children were only killed when they were “bad-bad” and after multiple warnings had been given to them.

According to the records filed in the case, the parents would discipline their children by making them perform planks and “wall sits” for a period of five minutes.

They initially rejected the charges, but then admitted to have engaged in abusive behavior.

During the course of the investigation, Bonar is said to have admitted to shooting the youngsters as a form of discipline. According to the police, Bonar told them that he did not derive any pleasure from killing the children; rather, he continued to do it as a form of punishment.

Following the interviews, Bonar and Kunze were detained for further investigation. In addition to that, Kunze is being charged with five charges of domestic abuse resulting in injury as well as five counts of neglect of a dependent.
