No active shooter or injuries reported at Shadow Ridge High School
The reunion of parents with their children will occur at Arbor View High School.

On Wednesday morning, Shadow Ridge High School initiated a strict lockdown due to reports of a person carrying a gun in the vicinity of the campus.
Las Vegas Metro Police received the initial reports about the school at around 10:23 a.m. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported at this time, as per their confirmation.
The public is being requested by the police to steer clear of the area and remain vigilant for emergency vehicles en route. The reunion of parents with their children will occur at Arbor View High School.
Principal Traci Kannon sent the following communication to parents of Shadow Ridge High School:
“I want to keep you informed of important issues and events that take place in and around our school. Our school is currently on lockdown due to a rumored threat. The threat has not been substantiated. I will update you if we have any additional information to share. Police are investigating on campus out of an abundance of caution. Again, the school is on a lockdown out of an abundance of caution while police investigate. There is no active threat.”
