The case of the rapper from Washington, District of Columbia, who is accused of firing a gun inside of Virginia’s Tysons Corner Center in June will be presented to a grand jury.

Several news sources say that on Monday, a Fairfax County judge found enough evidence to send the charges against “No Savage,” aka 22-year-old Noah Settles, to a grand jury.

There are three counts of firing a gun into a building with people inside, one count of trying to hurt someone on purpose, and one count of using a gun to commit a crime.

During the busy Father’s Day weekend at the shopping mall, Mr. Settles was accused of discharging three rounds into the throng. The incident did not result in anyone being shot, but it did cause a chaotic scene at the mall, and hundreds of people immediately began fleeing the area.

The suspect’s legal representation as well as members of the suspect’s family fought against the inclusion of the “malicious” felony classification in the suspect’s accusations. The attorney for Mr. Settles requested that the allegation be reduced to “reckless” firing of a firearm, which is considered a misdemeanor in the state of Virginia.
