Video: One dead, another injured in shooting while sitting in car at gas station in Englewood

Early on Tuesday morning, a man was gunned down and died in the Englewood neighborhood while he was sitting in a parked automobile in the neighborhood.

Two males, one fatally, were shot while sitting in a parked car in Englewood on Tuesday morning, according to Chicago police.

It was approximately 2:36 a.m. when three male suspects emerged from a gray Hyundai sedan and began shooting at the automobile in which the victims were riding in the 1100 block of West 63rd Street, according to the police.

According to the police, one individual sustained chest wounds and was transferred to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

According to the Chicago Police Department, a male in his 35th year old who had been injured in his right leg was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in a fair condition.

Detectives from Area One are conducting an investigation, but no one has been taken into custody.
