One person dead, several others injured at a house party in Huntsville
One dead following house party gone wrong

The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) is now conducting an investigation into a shooting that occurred in the 1500 block of Avenue O and resulted in the death of one person in addition to multiple people being shot.
According to Assistant Chief of Police Jim Barnes, investigators with the Houston Police Department (HPD) are currently gathering information regarding a huge party that took place inside of a residence around the time that a fight broke out at one in the morning.
According to Barnes, “there was more than one somebody who pulled out a gun and started shooting.” “As a direct result of this, there is one individual confirmed deceased, in addition to multiple people who have been shot and are in varied levels of medical condition.”
Barnes stated that the police are still attempting to acquire additional information and that more specifics would be provided at a later time.
“This is a terrible and unfortunate circumstance. Everyone concerned is in our thoughts and prayers “Barnes stated.
