One person shot and killed during an altercation inside a Maryland Heights Dobbs Tire & Auto Centers Dorsett

The incident that took place at the Dobbs Center in Maryland Heights resulted in the death of one individual.

According to the police, an incident between two workers of Dobbs led to the shooting that took place inside the establishment.

Police have not said who the victim is, but they say he is a man who is 52 years old. The suspect, a man who is 23 years old, has been caught. Police haven’t said who they think could have fired the shots inside the building yet.

Several police officers have been sent to the Dobbs store near where Dorsett Road and McKelvey Road meet. Police are looking at surveillance footage from the store and trying to talk to people who saw what happened.

Bill Carson, who works for the Maryland Heights Police Department, referred to the incident as a tragedy. “Any time something like this happens, it’s a tragedy,” he said. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victim, his family, and all of the other employees who were present during the incident and heard or saw different aspects of it but still had to go to work every day.

Early in the afternoon on Wednesday, law enforcement officers established a perimeter around the facility and prevented access to the retail establishment.
