1 person died following Soulsville shooting

A guy has died after a gunshot Saturday afternoon in Soulsville.

The incident took place in the 1300 block of Woodward Street just after 3:15 o’clock in the afternoon.

On the scene, law enforcement officers discovered the injured man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to the hospital, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries there and passed away.

At the scene, one individual was taken into custody. This is an inquiry that is still going on.
