Person shot during a robbery in Adamsville, Suspect arrested and charged
The victim was transported to a hospital in Ocala, Florida where he is listed in stable condition at this time.

On January 14th, 2023, at approximately 0003 hrs, the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported shooting incident at or near the dead end of County Road 510 in Adamsville. During the investigation, it was learned that the victim, a Hispanic male was robbed at gunpoint and received a single gunshot wound to the back.
The victim was transported to a hospital in Ocala, Florida where he is listed in stable condition at this time.
Further investigation revealed the victim was shot and robbed by a black, male suspect who was identified as Joshua Aaron Timmons, 06/04/98.
Timmons was arrested and charged with Attempted Murder and Armed Robbery. Timmons was assisted in the crime with two co-defendants identified as Gracie Madison Lemke, 08/16/2002 who was charged with Armed Robbery and Burglary to a conveyance, and, Lauren Paige Locher, 12/17/2002, who was charged with Burglary to a Conveyance.
All parties were booked into the Sumter County Detention Center.
