Riverside County Fire Department and Riverside City Fire Department responded at 3:27 pm to a report of a pedestrian struck and killed by a train near Opportunity Way and Van Buren in the Moreno Valley area.
At approximately 3:27 p.m., the Riverside County Fire Department and the Riverside City Fire Department rushed to the Moreno Valley area after receiving a complaint of a pedestrian being struck by a train close to the intersection of Opportunity Way and Van Buren.
After investigation, a deceased male was located south of the reported location.
An additional RP reported seeing a female laying on the rocks near the tracks, but she was not injured.
Firefighters triaged the riders on the train, and determined that there were no injuries.
