John Flood, a 28-year veteran of the PFD who passed away today from occupational cancer.

John Flood was a long time member of E14. John was here up until E14 closed in 2009.

It is with deep regret that the Philadelphia Fire Department announces the death of Firefighter John M. Flood of Engine 36, Platoon A, who passed away Friday, November 18, 2022 from what the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, Department of Labor and Industry determined to be occupational cancer. LODD funeral details will be announced in the coming days.
