A pizza delivery guy who is only 25 years old outdoes any Marvel superhero when he runs into a blazing house and saves the lives of five children. In the course of doing so, he risks his own life and sustains significant injuries.

Earlier last week, shortly after midnight, Nicholas Bostic was driving along a street in Lafayette, Indiana, when he came upon a house that was completely engulfed in flames. Nicholas made the decision to take action when he noticed that there were no firetrucks or other emergency vehicles in the area, so he raced into the burning house and started yelling to check if anyone else was still inside.

Even though he did not hear anything, he was concerned that there might be people trapped inside the house, so he forced his way through the thick smoke that filled the house and made his way upstairs, where he found four children whose ages ranged from one to eighteen. They had been asleep when Nicholas shook them up, at which point they fled to a secure location.

Nicholas was outdoors with everyone else when one of the children reported that there was another youngster inside the house who was 6 years old. Nicholas hurried back into the house, but he had no idea where the child was… he screamed for the child as he made his way through the flaming house, even seeking beneath the beds.

After making his way up to the second floor, he stopped when he heard a child sobbing in the first floor area. The problem was that there was smoke in every corner, and the room had the temperature of an oven. Nicholas was unable to see, so he tied his shirt across his lips and proceeded downstairs, where he found the infant. Nicholas found the youngster.

Nicholas grabbed the young girl and pulled her out of the thick, opaque smoke. He then glanced around for the exit but was unable to locate it. Therefore, he hurried back upstairs with the infant and jumped from the window located on the second level, making careful to land on his side so that the child would be shielded from the shock of the fall.

Unbelievably, the toddler emerged unscathed from the ordeal. Nicholas, on the other hand, was found to have serious smoke inhalation and to have “gravely sliced his right arm,” as stated by the police. The video shows emergency medical technicians using a tourniquet to stem the flow of blood from the wound. He was taken by helicopter to a nearby medical facility, where he received treatment.

A GoFundMe account has been established by his cousin, and he has raised more than $200,000 through it so far.
