An investigation has been opened by the New York State Police into a homicide that took place on Murray Street in the Village of Newark at approximately 2:15 a.m. on Saturday.

An investigation has been opened by the New York State Police into a homicide that took place on Murray Street in the Village of Newark at approximately 2:15 a.m. on Saturday.

This inquiry is being helped along by the New York State Police, the Police Department of the Village of Newark, and the Sheriff’s Office of Wayne County.
As at the time of this report, there has been neither confirmation nor identification of any victims.
No suspects have been identified, and there has been no information immediately released regarding any arrests.
