Cesar Chavez High School campus placed on lockdown after reports of shooting after the football game

Rob Grant, director from Cesar Chavez High School stated that Last night, after our football game ended, students and community members reported that shots were fired in or near the north parking lot of the school.
As a precaution, we quickly escorted students, staff, and community to a safe place, and we locked down the campus. Once all clear, we ended the lockdown.
Nobody was injured. Police are currently investigating. When new information becomes available, we will share with the community.
School will resume as normal on Monday. Thank you for your continued support and commitment.
