Update on Walmart Incident:
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call of a possible active shooter at the Pico Rivera Walmart. Responding deputies did a sweep of the store and checked for suspects or immediate danger. It was determined that there was no shooter on the premises and no suspects were taken into custody at the scene. The store has been cleared, and there is no imminent threat to residents. This incident has been ruled a hoax and is currently under investigation.
