After receiving reports of a drive-by gunshot outside Horlick Athletic Field in Racine, Wisconsin, authorities have begun their investigation.

On Friday evening, September 9, a girl who was 16 years old was shot and injured as a local high school football game at Horlick Field was coming to an end.
The sound of gunfire was reportedly heard just before 9:30 p.m. while officers were providing additional security for the event, according to the officials.
The juvenile female was discovered with a gunshot wound to her right leg at the intersection of High Street and Blake Avenue. She was treated for a wound that was not considered to be life-threatening at Ascension Medical Center after being transported there.
Officials say that the 16-year-old girl reported that she was heading eastward on High Street from Carlisle Avenue when she heard gunshots and then felt pain in her thigh. The incident occurred after the girl had heard the bullets.
The young lady proceeded to lay down on the sidewalk at the intersection of High Street and Blake Avenue after walking there.
