Shooting in Arbor Lodge Neighborhood left one person dead
Man dies after early morning shooting in N. Portland

At 2:26 in the morning on Thursday, January 26, 2023, officers from the North Precinct responded to a call about shots being fired in the 6900 block of North Curtis Avenue. They found a male victim inside a vehicle near the intersection of North Curtis Avenue and North Bryant Street when they arrived.
The victim was found close to the intersection. Officers and paramedics at the site came to the conclusion that he had passed away.
No suspects have been located, and there have been no arrests made at this time.
The Homicide Unit of the Portland Police Bureau has arrived at the scene and is conducting an investigation. North Curtis Avenue has been blocked off between North Morgan Street and North Saratoga Street so that the investigation can continue uninterrupted.
Between North Knowles Avenue and North Atlantic Avenue, North Bryant Street is currently blocked to traffic.
