A social media post made by Stephanie Sibounheuang could have helped a potential assailant find PnB Rock, an American rapper who was killed just minutes after the post was made.
PnB Rock, whose true name is Rakim Hasheem Allen, was shown in a graphic video that was uploaded on social media lying in a pool of blood while being guarded by employees and security personnel.
“PnB Rock was shot during an attempted robbery at Roscoe’s Chicken.
The rapper known as “Selfish” was brought to a hospital in the Los Angeles region mere minutes after the shooting, and it was there that he was pronounced dead on Monday.
Allen was there with his girlfriend Stephanie Sibounheuang, who posted a snapshot on her Instagram story that she has since removed, in which the restaurant’s location was labelled. Allen was with Stephanie.
Twenty minutes earlier, Ms. Sibounheuang had uploaded a photo to her Instagram account depicting the couple’s meals from Roscoe’s home of Chicken & Waffles.
Some people have speculated that this may have provided the assailants with more information regarding the rapper’s location.
The shooting just took place, and the employees of the restaurant are in a state of terror as they watch the rapper lay on the floor. According to sources within law enforcement, they received a call to the area in Inglewood at 1:23 in the afternoon for a report of a victim of a shooting.
We do not yet have any information on the shooter, but we do know that PnB was dining there with his girlfriend, Steph, who shared a photo of the two of them eating together. According to a source with connections to the restaurant, who spoke with FOX3, it appears like the shooter targeted PnB because no one else was injured or harmed during the incident, and there were a large number of customers dining inside the restaurant.
According to our informant, the suspect ran off after stealing jewelry from PnB and then escaping the scene. PnB had earlier published a video of himself doing so, in which he was shown wearing a number of diamond and silver chains.
The suspect has not been apprehended at this time. It has been brought to our attention that there is surveillance video that may assist law enforcement in identifying him.
Rock was born in Philadelphia but has made Los Angeles his permanent residence. In June of 2014, he distributed his first mixtape, and the following year, he inked a deal with Atlantic Records to release music commercially. Rolling Stone included PnB on their list of “10 New Artists You Need to Know” that was published in 2016.
According to a tweet from a digital reporter named Doc Louallen, “Philadelphia rapper PNB Rock was just shot in Los Angeles, California.” The video that can be seen on Twitter is far too disturbing to post.
He was taken by ambulance to a medical facility in the area.
PnB Rock relocated from Philadelphia to Los Angeles after obtaining a record deal with Atlantic Records in the aftermath of the release of his debut mixtape in 2014. His real name is Pastorius Baynton, and his stage name is a reference to a street corner in the Philadelphia neighborhood where he grew up.
Milan and Xuri, the two daughters that PnB Rock had with his ex-wife Steph, are the ones who will carry on his legacy.
